• Color Contouring: PLOT88 has two new functions to draw the two and three-dimensional surface line contours with optional filled color contours.
• GNU FORTRAN: PLOT88 now runs under the Red Hat  7.2 and 9.0 operating system and supports GNU FORTRAN  0.5.26 (Redhat 7.2) and 3.2.2 (Redhat 9.0).
